Better Organisations is pleased to announce that Dr Anna Laska-Leśniewicz has joined the team, further strengthening its research and innovation capabilities at the intersection of technology, human-centred design, and sustainability.

Dr Laska-Leśniewicz is an Assistant Professor at the Lodz University of Technology (Poland), with interdisciplinary expertise combining biomedical engineering, immersive technologies (Virtual and Augmented Reality), human-computer interaction, and user-centred design methodologies. Her work focuses on bridging advanced technological development with human needs, particularly in the areas of education, healthcare, and behavioural change.

Her core competencies include:

  • Human-Centred Design and User Experience (UX), applying design thinking to develop solutions that are intuitive and socially relevant.

  • Immersive technologies (VR/AR), with applications in education and training.
  • Design and coordination of international educational initiatives, including Erasmus+ projects.
  • Project management and interdisciplinary collaboration (IPMA-D certified).

At Better Organisations, Anna will contribute across research and innovation activities, with a particular focus on the 4Sir2 project. 4Sir2 aims to develop a functional, sustainable healthy drink ecosystem to help prevent childhood obesity, combining food innovation with bioeconomy principles. Within the project, Better Organisations is responsible for co-creation processes and stakeholder engagement across the value chain, working with growers, processors, and end-users to ensure that developed solutions are viable, adoptable, and aligned with societal needs.

In this context, Dr Laska-Leśniewicz will support the design and facilitation of human-centred co-creation activities, strengthening user engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration, and contributing to embedding Industry 5.0 principles - ensuring innovation is not only technologically advanced, but also human-centric, resilient, and sustainable.

Her addition strengthens Better Organisations’ capability to support organisations in becoming purpose-driven, future-ready entities that tackle societal and environmental challenges while fostering prosperity for all.

We are delighted to welcome her to the team.
